Travel day, so time to devour another fabulous book! I do adore YA fiction, especially realistic fiction.
This is a great follow up book for readers who adores Wonder and The Fault in Our Stars. This is the story of Aimee and Matthew. Aimee has CP and uses a computer device to communicate. She has finally convinced her mother to abandon the adult assistants that follow her throughout the day, in favor of hiring peers to be her companions and friends.
Can you pay someone to be your friend?
The story progresses to reveal that everyone has their own disabilities and weaknesses, and friendship and help comes in surprising ways.
A beautiful, heartfelt read! Highly recommended for YA!
